I have been painting and selling my art work in Sonoma County for over 25 years. I lost all of my paintings during the massive Sonoma County Tubbs fire which also burned our home/art studio to the ground in 2017. Since then I have recovered and resumed painting with renewed enthusiasm and creativity. During the Covid "Stay Home" period I devoted a large portion of my time to painting. Like many of you, I found something to help me get through the dark times.
Most of my original paintings are at least 24"X24" with many as large as 36"X48". I started years ago painting large flowers in an up close view. I discovered abstracts were my true passion and have since been focusing solely on them. Abstracts give me the freedom to create which is my passion. My concentration is primarily centered on color, composition and focus point. I want the viewer to find my art engaging and thought provoking.
It pleases me to know people find my work interesting and enjoy displaying my paintings in their homes and businesses. After all, an artist wants their creations to be seen.
